1.2 - Install PowerISO
1.3 - Use PowerISO to mount a image file (i.e. *.iso)

1.0 – About this tutorial:

This tutorial explaines you how to mount a image file, using PowerISO.
With PowerISO you will be able to create a virtual cd-drive from a single file.
Most common used image files are called (*.iso), that would explain PowerISO.
Most downloaded games come in .RAR or .ISO -fileformat.

1.1 – Download PowerISO:

First you have to download the PowerISO program.
Go to the official PowerISO website and download the program to your harddrive.

1.2 – Install PowerISO:

Locate your downloaded PowerISO.Exe setup file and run (double click) it.
For a quick install you can push “Next, next, next, ok..” untill the installer will finish succesfully.
You will probably be asked to reboot your system. Go ahead, this is necessary!

1.3 – Use PowerISO to mount a image file (i.e. *.iso):

PowerISO will automatically start when loading windows. If not, you can go to:

"Start --> All Programs --> PowerISO --> PowerISO"

Ok, now please point your mouse to the taskbar (near the system time) and click on the "up arrow".
All current (running) programs will appear in a small box (window):

Now right click the PowerISO icon (the yellow cd- icon) and choose to "mount a image to player".
(My version of Windows is Dutch, so that's why it's called "Koppel image aan speler" in this tutorial)

A new window will appear:

Now lookup your downloaded image (*.iso) file, and press "Open".
(In this example, my *.iso file is called "AOM_Disk1.iso")

You have now succesfully mounted a image (*.iso) file!

Now go to "My Computer" and check out your new virtual cd- drive:

That's it! You are good to go! Have fun.
